Privacy policy for BeadPattern and this support website.

Effective September 27, 2026

BeadPattern is an independent photo-to-bead-pattern app for iPhone and iPad, maintained by the developer using the GitHub account shotpocket-app. Contact: shotpocket6@gmail.com.

1. Photos and local projects

You choose photos through Apple's system photo picker or take a photo with camera permission. BeadPattern processes selected images on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your photos or bead projects automatically.

The app stores project content locally, including source images, names, pattern versions, edits, material counts and making progress. Language, appearance and other preferences are also stored locally. BeadPattern has no app account or developer-operated cloud project synchronization.

The system photo picker may retrieve a selected image from your photo provider, including iCloud. Apple's services and your provider's practices apply to that retrieval.

2. Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases and restores. BeadPattern uses StoreKit product, storefront and verified transaction information to show prices and determine Pro access. This can include purchase and revocation status. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Purchase, price and restore requests may contact Apple's services. App language does not determine the App Store purchasing region. Apple processes platform information under Apple's privacy policy.

3. Exports, backups and deletion

Exporting or sharing a pattern sends the selected file to the destination you choose. That destination may store or transmit it, including through a cloud file provider. Its own privacy practices apply.

Local projects remain until removed through app controls or removal of the app's local data. The developer cannot remotely read, recover or erase your local projects. Deleting a local project does not remove the original image from your photo library, previous exports, recipient copies or backups. Offloading an app can retain its data.

Your device backup settings may include app data in Apple-managed backups. BeadPattern does not provide its own cloud backup service. Restoring a purchase restores eligible Pro access, not deleted project files.

4. Advertising and analytics

BeadPattern does not include advertising, tracking SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not operate an app analytics server. Apple may process platform diagnostics and TestFlight feedback according to your device, account and testing settings.

5. Support correspondence

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. These are used to answer your request and investigate the issue. Email is handled by the providers involved, including Gmail for the support mailbox.

Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or as required by law. To request access, correction or deletion of correspondence you have sent, contact shotpocket6@gmail.com. This does not give the developer access to local app data.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card information or unnecessary private photos. Children should ask a parent or guardian before contacting support or sending images.

6. This website

GitHub Pages hosts these static support pages. We have added no analytics scripts, advertising, forms, cookies or local-storage tracking to the website.

Serving a page involves technical requests to GitHub. GitHub may process information such as IP addresses and request details for hosting and security under its privacy statement. Email and external links open the service you choose; those services have their own privacy practices.

7. Policy updates and contact

We will update this page if the app or support practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.

For a privacy question or request, email shotpocket6@gmail.com with “BeadPattern privacy” in the subject.
