Privacy policy

1. Information stored on your device

CleanReport stores job titles; optional client and property labels you enter; room names, notes and N/A reasons; selected or captured photos; and operational records such as identifiers, photo dimensions, source, import times and job revisions. This information supports your photo checklist and is stored in the app’s local storage. The developer does not automatically receive it.

Optional merchant details include your business name, contact text and logo. These are stored locally and may appear in PDF reports or backup packages you choose to create. The logo uses an app-owned image copy; editing it does not alter the original in your photo library.

2. Photos and permissions

You choose images with Apple’s system photo picker or take a still photo with camera permission. The app does not request full-library access, microphone access, contacts access or location tracking. Camera images are kept in app storage rather than automatically saved back to your Photos library. An iCloud-only original may be downloaded by Apple’s system photo service at your request.

3. Image processing and metadata

Imported app copies are normalized to JPEG on the device without copying original embedded EXIF/GPS metadata. The original photo in your library is unchanged. The app still keeps operational information such as image size, import time and source; for camera photos it may record the time observed by the app. This does not verify the original capture time. Property labels and details visible in the image itself are not automatically hidden or removed.

4. Network services, exports and backups

CleanReport generates PDF reports and backup packages on the device and can restore a backup you select. It does not automatically upload job content to a developer-operated server or use remote AI, ads or tracking. A PDF may contain job/property labels, photos, notes and merchant branding. A backup can contain jobs, photos and saved merchant details; it is not a purchase receipt and does not grant Pro access. When you choose Save or Share, the destination you select may store or transmit a copy, including through a cloud file provider. Treat these files as private; the app does not add password encryption to exported packages. Removing an app record does not remove copies already shared or saved elsewhere. 5. Pro and purchases

CleanReport includes a Pro one-time-purchase and restore flow. Public App Store availability is pending; this website does not sell Pro or process payments. In App Store builds, Apple handles purchase and restore transactions and the app checks the resulting entitlement on the device. The developer does not receive your payment-card details through CleanReport. Purchase and restore may require an internet connection. Restoring a purchase restores eligible Pro access, not cleaning jobs or photos; a local backup is a separate feature. Availability and the final price are shown by Apple when purchasing becomes available.

6. Retention and your controls

Local content remains until you remove it using available app controls or remove the app’s local data. Removing a photo from a slot removes its record and schedules the app copy for cleanup; failed file cleanup may be retried later. Archiving a job or marking an area N/A retains its information and photos. Removing an app copy does not remove your original Photos-library image, a device backup or a copy previously exported to another app or person. Offloading an iPhone app can retain its data. The developer cannot remotely read, recover or erase your local content, and no immediate secure-erasure guarantee is made.

7. Support correspondence

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the message or attachments you voluntarily send, and uses them to respond and investigate the reported issue. Email is processed by the email providers involved, including Gmail for this support mailbox. Keep customer and property information out of support requests. Correspondence is retained while needed for the request and related follow-up, or where required by law. You may request deletion of support correspondence at shotpocket6@gmail.com.

8. This website

These static pages add no analytics, advertising, forms, cookies or local-storage tracking. GitHub Pages hosts the site. GitHub records visitors’ IP addresses for security and may process other technical service data under the GitHub Privacy Statement. Clicking an email or external link opens the service you choose; its own privacy practices apply.

9. Intended users and updates

CleanReport is intended for people documenting professional cleaning work and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit children’s information through support. If you believe such information was sent, contact us. We will update this page if data practices change and recheck it before public release. The date above identifies this version of the policy.
